JeAnt

JeAnt is a typeface which was inspired by

a bike chain. The name of typeface came from the pronunciation of the bike brand ‘Giant’ in Mandarin as the brand is originally from Taiwan. In order to give myself an idea of how to form the letters, I made few bike chains with cardboard paper. They helped me to manipulate the shapes to get a better result.

The typeface was firstly drafted and drawn with black pen on tracing paper, and later drawn in Illustrator to digitalise it.
